Fine Arts

Music, art, and drama instruction are integrated throughout our units of study.

Music

Students are exposed to vocal and instrumental music, great composers, and music theory and history.

Art

After studying the life and work of great artists, students create their own works of art using a wide variety of media and techniques. Regular field trips to art museums and symphony halls in both Baltimore and Washington are a part of the school’s emphasis on art history and appreciation.

Drama

Drama is an important part of the Cambridge students’ experience. In addition to formal staged productions, drama is used to bring the curriculum to life in the classroom. From the mythology of ancient Greece and Rome to Shakespeare and Charles Dickens, students have the opportunity perform both timeless and original works.
