The Cambridge School community includes faculty and staff, administration and board of trustees, parents and students who are committed to partnering together to fulfill the mission and vision of the school.
Faculty and staff are committed professionals who teach and serve at Cambridge School. Their immediate supervision is through the Head of School, who is responsible for the day-to-day administration of Cambridge's affairs and who manages and directs all activities of the school as prescribed by the Board. Other administrators include the Assistant to the Head of School, the Business Manager, the Director of Admissions, and the Office Manager.
The Board of Trustees is the school's mission and vision keepers, presided by a Board Chair. The Board members lead committees, fostering the school's continued development. These committees include:
Development, Governance, Nominating, Finance, Audit, Administration & Policy, Prayer, Personnel,
Education and Cambridge Parent Community.
The role of parents is to stay informed of classroom plans and focus, ask questions and clarify, give feedback, support studies at home, assist in communicating the needs and desires of their children, and offer their talents and abilities to the classroom when possible. Ultimately, it is the work of God's Spirit in the teachers themselves, the integrity of the classroom, the servant spirit and visionary leadership of the administration and communal Truth seeking in the community of parents, students and staff that make a school like Cambridge flourish.
