- After studying the concepts of a quest in Mr. Pollock’s 4th grade class, Parker MacLure took it upon himself to embark on a personal quest to help the needy. With his sister Caroline, a 2nd grader at Cambridge, Parker collected over 430 books. After sorting through the books, Parker and Caroline helped deliver the books to St. Jerome’s Head Start and After-School program. When asked about his service project, Parker replied, “Our teacher taught us what it means to help other people. He taught us to think about others.”
